But this state of mind hardly features in any discussion of the evils that empire and imperialism do to humanity.
Which is odd?
Especially at a time and in an era that has witnessed the most naked promotion of the claim that empire-makers and empire-backers have brought mainly good changes to the areas and peoples they subjected to empire!
As the mechanical mothers, utterers and renderers in London of the Tony Blair zombie slogan have shown in the years 2001-2005, the murderous invasion and occupation of Iraq, it was the imperialist West that ‘gave democracy’ ‘gave civilisation’ to the places occupied and invaded and so on.
No noticeable challenge to this untruth has been registered anywhere in the world wide media whatever.
This must happen.
This lie must be recognised and refuted.
Only then can the overdue process of freedom and justice in the world begin.
